Learn how to create additional subdomains and point custom domains to your Scynr Free Hosting account.

A subdomain allows you to create secondary web addresses under your primary domain name (such as blog.scynr.xyz or shop.yourdomain.com). Each subdomain functions as an independent website with its own dedicated web folder inside your file manager.
💡 Free Allocation: Scynr Free Hosting accounts include unlimited free subdomains under our primary system extensions (e.g., yourname.host.scynr.xyz).
Log in to your VistaPanel at http://cpanel.host.scynr.xyz.
Scroll down to the Domains section and click on Subdomains.
In the Subdomain text field, enter the prefix you want to use (e.g., blog, shop, or portal).
From the dropdown menu, select your base domain name.
Click the Create button.
📁 Directory Created: VistaPanel will automatically generate a new root directory named htdocs/subdomain_name in your Online File Manager. Upload all files for this subdomain into that folder.
If you use an external DNS provider like Cloudflare to manage your domain, you must manually point the subdomain to your hosting server:
Log in to your Cloudflare Dashboard and select your domain.
Navigate to DNS $\rightarrow$ Records and click Add Record.
Set Type to A.
Set Name to your subdomain prefix (e.g., blog).
Set IPv4 Address to your Scynr Hosting server IP (e.g., 51.91.152.213).
Set Proxy Status to DNS Only (Grey Cloud) and click Save.
Newly created subdomains can take anywhere from 15 minutes to a few hours to propagate across global DNS servers. Flush your local DNS cache or try accessing it in Incognito Mode.
Yes! Returning to the Subdomains page in VistaPanel and clicking Remove next to any listed subdomain will delete it without affecting your primary site.
